Juniors

JGA(Japan Golf Association)
Junior members of JGA are comprised of boys and girls
from 7 to 18 years old and their membership automatically
expires on their 19th birthday.
Designated by Shikoku league of JGA, Tsukinomiya Junior
Institute provides a training course for juniors
in Tokushima prefecture.

Golf course

Today most golf players are middle and high aged people.
In order to make golf more popular and develop
as a sport for the future, it is important that
junior players enjoy golf through practices.

Registered as members, juniors can play on the golf
courses adherent to JGA and use the designated
driving ranges at a special fee.
Members can also participate in meetings and
trainings held by JGA with some privilege.

The global level juniors seem to focus on how, not how much
or how long, they practice.
They develop their golf by keeping the "thinking" and "efficient"
practices in the environment where they can play as many
rounds and shots, and anytime as they like.
They always analyze their golf, build their own training
menu, and practice to overcome their weaknesses.
Hitting every one shot with a specified purpose
improves their golf.
On the contrary, in Japan, we do not have adequate
environment to support and develop talented boys
and girls. A big difference lies here.
