Round Lesson

Now, it's time to go out
on the course and play a round lesson.

Juniors don't use carts in principal.
They carry their own bags which weigh depending on their strength. They walk as fast as possible during the play. Bags are put outside the teeing ground.

To propel a ball straight requires the proper arc of the club head and facing of the club. Set the club's face at right angles with the target.
The weight is necessary for swinging. This weight should stay close to your backbone. If the weight is lost or slides, the club head doesn't strike a ball appropriately.

When you play on the course, you have to change the club or swing arc size according to the distance and situation.
Swing arc size can be compared to the hour plate of a clock. Back swing and follow-through should be the same side.

Half swing is literally the half size of full swing. Arms should point at from 9 to 3 o'clock on the hour plate.
Mini-swing is used to roll or putt a ball onto the green. Arms should point at from 7 to 5 o'clock.

Around the green, you need to alter your stroke according to distance or condition. Running approach is to roll a ball as in putting. Clubs from number five to nine iron is used depending on the distance or condition.
Pitch and run is to hit a ball with a bigger back swing then running approach to spoon it up. A number nine iron or a pitching niblick is used.
Pitch shot is to pitch and approach a ball to a pin. You should change the width of stance and swing arc size according to the distance. A pitching niblick or a sand wedge is used.

In most holes, the lines from the tee to the green are not straight. The course whose line curves to the left or right at its middle is called "dogleg hole".
In addition, the course is sometimes downhill or uphill and this upsets your perception of distance and direction.
Fairways are also undulating. When you address, you would know that the left foot or the toes are higher or lower than the other one. In this case, the possibility to miss the shot becomes higher. This is especially difficult because normally you cannot practice this stroke.

You can make progress by setting a specified goal, such as prolonging your
shot, getting lower score in short games, defeating your rival, etc.
Another aspect that may improve your golf is to play with various types
of players. You can gain insights on the rhythm and timing of shot from
single players. They may take a quick swing or a slow one……
how do you reflect the technique on your golf?
Above all, the encounter with other golfers is a treasure.
